Dormont s Blue Hose Gas Connector is made of a stainless steel corrugated tube, coated with antimicrobial PVC. This coating prevents the growth of bacteria, mold and mildew. Dormont s blue gas hose is meant for foodservice equipment that is moved on a regular basis for cleaning and repair.
One end of the connector has Swivel MAX which allows 360° rotational movement to reduce stress on the hose and increase its longevity. This kit includes Safety Quik, a quick disconnect valve that meets the operational needs of a commercial kitchen and provides better safety for your employees. Combined with the full port ball valve, the quick disconnect is designed with thermal shutoff while the carbon steel safety sleeve ensures the gas connector cannot be disconnected until the gas valve is shut off. Likewise, the gas valve cannot be opened until the gas connector is attached. Connection is easy, simply push the end of the hose into the pitting until it snaps in place.
