Made with 304 stainless steel, the braided tubing has an exterior coating of antimicrobial PVC to prevent the growth of bacteria, mold and mildew on the connector. It s designed to be used with moveable equipment and caster-mounted appliances that are moved on a regular basis.
The stress guard is a 360° rotational end fitting at both ends to reduce strain on the hose. They are made of carbon steel for durable construction.
When installing with caster-mounted equipment, Blue Hose Gas Connections should be paired with restraining devices to prevent transmission of the strain to the connector.
